How to Use

Awaken Arousal Oil with Organic Botanicals

Suggested Use: Apply 3-5 pumps of product to intimate areas. Gently massage and allow a few minutes for the botanicals to absorb. Not compatible with latex condoms.

Massage Oil with Organic Botanicals 

Suggested Use: Apply liberally to your hands and massage into skin. Perfect for full-body massage, intimate foreplay and post-sex relaxation. Not designed for oral consumption or genital application.

    What countries does Awaken ship to?

    Awaken with Botanicals ships worldwide, with the exception of Singapore, South Africa, Canada and Australia due to country restrictions.

    Can I use Awaken if I'm breastfeeding, pregnant, or trying to conceive?

    There isn't any research that supports any negative effects of using Awaken with Organic Botanicals as directed when pregnant or breastfeeding. However, your body and needs are unique. As with all medications and medical concerns, please consult with your medical professional about using Foria products while pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are trying to conceive, oils are not the best choice of lubricant as it can affect the motility of the sperm. During ovulation, you may want to choose a fertility lubricant or avoid using a lubricant all together.

    Is Awaken a lubricant?

    Awaken was designed as an arousal oil, or “pre-lube”. It’s meant to be applied at the beginning of sexual activity, to support the body’s arousal response by enhancing natural lubrication and blood flow and easing discomfort. 

Some people like to use Awaken in combination with an additional lubricant (you can check out our Sex Oil here). Be sure to apply Awaken first and allow at least 15 minutes for it to take effect so it doesn’t become diluted.

    Can I use Awaken with sex toys?

    Yes! We recommend that you choose non-latex toys since our products are oil-based and oils can degrade latex. Examples of safe toys would include silicone, glass, elastomer, and stainless steel. For more information, check out our blog on Coconut oil and Sex toys.

    Can I use a condom with Awaken?

    Because Awaken is oil-based and can degrade latex and poly-isoprene, we recommend choosing oil-safe barriers like polyurethane or nitrile condoms for protection from STIs and pregnancy (or lambskin for prevention of pregnancy but not STIs). Several major condom brands offer polyurethane condoms. Just be sure they're "poly-urethane" NOT "poly-isoprene." Some couples enjoy the FC2 "female condom" or "internal condom" since it is less constricting, with more sensation for him and less friction for her.

    When should I choose Awaken with Organic Botanicals instead of Awaken with CBD?

    Awaken Intimacy Oil with Organic Botanicals is a CBD version of our bestselling Awaken Intimacy oil with CBD. You may want to choose the CBD free version, Awaken Intimacy Oil with Organic Botanicals if: You are allergic to CBD or Hemp oil. You are not ready to try CBD just yet. You are ordering from (or traveling to) a country in which CBD import is regulated. You have received medical advice to refrain from CBD because of a medication contraindication, or any other medical reason. You are subject to a drug test that includes testing for CBD.

    What is the difference between Awaken with CBD Awaken with Organic Botanicals?

    Awaken Intimacy Oil with Organic Botanicals is formulated without CBD and does not contain Hemp Oil. You may want to choose Awaken Arousal Oil with Organic Botanicals instead of the CBD version if you are allergic to hemp, take any medications that may interfere with CBD (speak with your doctor), live in or are traveling to a country in which import of CBD is regulated, or if you are not ready to try CBD just yet for any other reason.
